So Much To See and Do While In The Harbour City
One of Sydney’s major attractions is Taronga Zoo.
Situated on the northern side of Sydney Harbour and across from the Opera House and central Sydney, the Zoo is only a short ferry ride from Circular Quay.
Not only is the Zoo famous for the incredible animals, but it’s also famous for its amazing views of Sydney’s skyline and Harbour Bridge.
Amongst Taronga Zoo’s many attractions you’ll find Giraffes, Gorillas, Bears and a new exhibit which is home to 5 gorgeous Asian Elephants.
The Zoo is home to many reptiles (including Australia’s most dangerous species) as well as an exhibit full of cute and cuddly Koalas and a whole host of Sydney wildlife.
While you’re there you’ll also see Australia’s very own native Dingo which is always a crowd favourite. Be sure to catch the daily Seal show (which is absolutely hilarious) and if you’re lucky you might even get a very special kiss (although slightly fishy).
You could spend hours watching the cheeky Chimpanzee’s play just like little children. Or perhaps marvel at the sheer size of the Silverback Gorillas.
And if you’re really brave you can try the guided night tour and see the predators when they come out to play. Visit Taronga Zoo and you’ll see why it’s one of Sydney’s major attractions.
